About Us

At Coastline Guinea Pig Sanctuary, we ensure all piggies are cared for and loved during their time with us here. We make sure all piggies go to a suitable home where that love and care will be continued.

 

I have personally cared for Guinea Pigs for 20+ years when I originally had them as pets and from then, I’ve never looked back. I began rescuing Guinea Pigs in 2022 however only took the leap to become an official sanctuary recently when there was no longer one to cover our area.

 

We cover Teeside, Whitby, Scarborough, York and Darlington

Ned

One of our cheekiest piggies to date. Hence, named after ‘Naughty Ned’ from the Haven parks back in the 2000s. He’s paired with a younger friend and you can learn more on ‘Meet the Piggies’!

Lizzie

Our Lizzie is a super friendly, super cheeky girl at our sanctuary. Always trying to see what you are doing especially when you’re doing things in her cage, she just loves the attention! Get to know her by clicking ‘Meet the Piggies’!

Lemon-top 

Lemon-top is a playful girl who also came in with her mum. They both now free roam in the garden as they have their forever home here with the sanctuary. Discover their story on the ‘Meet The Piggies’ page!
